Hotels in Ecuador may offer late check-out at 12pm for Travelers who would like extra time to relax or prepare for their departure. Please check with the hotel directly, as this option is subject to availability.

You will have two Guides during your journey: one in Quito and another who will join your group upon arrival in The Galápagos Islands.

No specialized footwear is necessary—comfortable running shoes will work perfectly fine.

Due to local government and immigration regulations, the Trip Operator has informed us that they are no longer able to include The Galápagos National Park Entrance Fee on upcoming Galápagos trips. As a result, you will need to pay this fee directly upon arrival in the Galápagos which is typically around ~$200 USD. Please be advised that this cost is subject to change.
If the Galápagos National Park Entrance Fee was originally supposed to be included in your trip cost, you will be contacted prior to the start of your trip and refunded the exact amount of the fee.
What equipment is provided during snorkeling?
What equipment is provided during snorkeling?
All essential gear—masks, fins, snorkels, and life jackets—will be provided. Wetsuits, however, are not included. Travelers can rent wetsuits and additional equipment from local shops on each island if needed. Wetsuit rental prices typically range from $40 to $60 USD per person, per week, depending on the wetsuit length.

Tips for Guides, drivers, and restaurant staff are not included in your trip costs. While tipping is not mandatory, it is a meaningful way to show appreciation and provides supplemental income for local teams. If they have enhanced your experience, consider rewarding their efforts with a tip. Below are tipping suggestions:
For Guides, it is recommended to tip $6-8 USD per person/per day
For Drivers, it is recommended to tip $4 USD per person/per day
For Restaurants, it is recommended to tip 10% of the total bill
Tips can be given in US dollars.

Getting around the island is easy, with options such as biking, buses, or taxis. However, please note that certain areas are restricted, and tourists may only visit them with a Guide.

This is not required for entering Ecuador. However, for entry into The Galápagos Islands, you are required to have the following:
