Are tips included?
Tips for guides, drivers, and restaurant staff are not included in your trip. While tipping is not mandatory, it is greatly appreciated as it provides supplemental income. If the local teams have enhanced your experience, please consider showing your appreciation with a tip.
Guides --> USD $4-6 per person/per day
Drivers --> USD $1-3 per person/per day
Restaurants --> 15-20% of total bill
Hotels (assistance with luggage) --> $2-3 per bag

A primary guide will accompany you throughout the entire duration of the trip. The only exception is for itineraries that include archaeological tours, where a certified and licensed guide is required for those specific segments.

Filtered and mineral water is recommended for drinking. There will be water jugs at the hotels so you can refill your bottles.

Meals will feature local, traditional cuisine, typically served as a set three-course menu or in a family-style shared format. Menus are subject to seasonal changes and are finalized by the local operator prior to the start of each trip.

Both the welcome and farewell dinners will be taking place at proper sit-down restaurants. The menu will be a mixture of family style and set menu selections.

Unfortunately, the restaurants do not permit guests to bring their own wine or other beverages. However, a selection of wine and other spirits is available for purchase directly at the restaurant.

There is a snack bar where you can purchase sandwiches, snacks, coffee, juices, etc.

On Day 2, during the Athens City Tour, bottled water will be available for purchase either directly from the driver or at an additional cost from local kiosks. Snacks can also be purchased at kiosks along the way. If needed, your Guide will be happy to assist.

On Day 4, during the Santorini hike, each traveler will be provided with one juice, a traditional local snack (pasteli or halva), one bottle of water, and one piece of fruit. It is recommended to purchase any additional drinks or snacks in advance, as there may be limited options available along the hiking route. If the group has any special requests, feel free to discuss them with your Guide.

During this experience, you’ll enjoy a series of small bites from beloved local spots in Mykonos:
Manto Square – A charming Greek products shop next to Trio Bambini Gelato. Treat: 1 Amygdaloto (almond cookie) & a shot of Mastiha liqueur.
Souvlaki Story at 3 Pigadia – Choice of 1 pork or chicken skewer, served with a small piece of pita bread and a mini bottle of water.
Gioras Bakery – A taste of baklava paired with a chilled shot of soumada (traditional almond drink).
Soulmates Coffee Shop Mykonos – Onion pie served with authentic Greek coffee.
Maranto Restaurant – Zucchini balls, tomato dip, and a glass of wine (white, red, or rosé).
Please note:
This is not a sit-down meal; it’s a walking experience with light tastings at multiple local venues.
Stops and venues are subject to change at the guide’s discretion for operational reasons, and will be replaced with similar alternatives when necessary.

There are bus systems and Taxis throughout Greece, even in the small towns and on the islands.

There is no Uber, Lyft or other rideshare programs in Greece. In Athens, there is a Taxibeat app that is similar but calls regular taxis.
