It is forbidden to enter a church wearing shorts or skirts above the knees, sleeveless tops, and shirts that don't cover your belly button.

Tips for Guides, drivers, and restaurant staff are not included in your trip costs. While tipping is not mandatory, it is a meaningful way to show appreciation and provides supplemental income for local teams. If they have enhanced your experience, consider rewarding their efforts with a tip. Below are tipping suggestions:
For Guides, it is recommended to tip $10-15 USD per person/per day
For Drivers, it is recommended to tip $5-8 USD per person/per day
For restaurants (full service), it is recommended to tip 15-20% of total bill

Tap water is generally safe to drink except for some rural areas. The inscription 'Acqua Non Potabile' means water is not drinkable.

To get a taxi in Italy you will need to walk to a designated taxi stand or call one of the local radio taxi companies. Taxi stands can be found outside of most tourist attractions, main squares, and transport hubs.
