All camping equipment is included, except sleeping bags and pillows.

Yes, there is a local adventure supply shop that rents out sleeping bags here. Please note that you are responsible for the pick up and drop of the sleeping bags if you choose to go this route.

All campsites that the Trip Operator has booked will have electricity.

There will not be towels available - you will need to bring your own towel for showering and swimming.

Laundry will be available in Swakopmund and once you are back in Windhoek.

Please try to avoid bringing unnecessary valuables, and use the safe on the overland truck to store the bulk of your money, passport, and airline tickets. It’s also a good idea to purchase a money belt or pouch that is easily hidden. We strongly recommend that you photocopy all important documents e.g. passport, vaccination certificate, etc. and keep the copies separate from the originals. While not valid, a photocopy makes it very much easier to obtain replacements if necessary.
