Trip promotion is one of the most important roles of the Host during the trip process. Trova relies on our Hosts to market to, engage, and draw in their community for a trip to fill spots. We offer several tools and tips that have been proven successful by our Hosts in the past. Promotion with Trova starts with the survey, but the next step is to build out your email list preparing for your trip. This is where the Promote tab of your Trip page comes in.
Trip Promotion
This is an overview of your current trip's status, as well as a link to your trip page. This will display the current number of bookings you have and a shareable link to your live trip on our Trip page. You can also see the current status of your trip and where you are on the trip timeline.
Email Campaign
This section is the current list of marketing emails set for your trip. These are created and curated by Trova but can be customized to fit your voice and brand. Once an email has been sent, it can no longer be edited. Clicking the pencil icon will bring up a pop-up to customize the details of each email. Here you can also see a preview of what the email will look like to your audience.
Campaign Details
You can see an overview of the campaign data, to review before sending or to judge how successful each email was in reaching your audience. From here you can see:
Email - The title of the email, with an overview of the type or content
Schedule - The date or action that will trigger when the email is sent
Clicked - Shows how many people clicked the email once it landed in their inbox
Opened - Shows how many people actually opened the email to view it
Status - Displays the current status of the email. Pending, sent, etc.
