Step-by-Step: Referring a Host
Here’s what the referral process looks like from start to finish:
1. Share your referral link
To begin, you’ll need a TrovaTrip Host account. Once you’re logged in, head to your Host portal and click “Refer a Host” in the top-right corner. From there, you can copy your personal referral link and share it with someone you think would make a great Host.

2. Your referral applies to host with Trova
Your referral will complete the Trova Host application and go through our standard review process. Once approved, they’ll collaborate with the Trova team to plan, price, and prepare their first group trip for launch!
3. Their first trip confirms
Once the trip is live, Travelers can begin booking. When the trip reaches the minimum number of Travelers required to run, it officially Confirms and the referral is complete!
4. You both earn $1,000
After their first trip Confirms, you and your referred Host each earn $1,000.
You’ll receive your payment shortly after the trip Confirms.
Your referred Host will receive their $1,000 alongside their final trip payout, typically about 20 days before the trip begins.

What's the best way to refer a Host?
We recommend starting with personal, one-to-one outreach. DMs, emails, or texts are typically more effective than broad sharing and help set clear expectations early. Some Hosts also choose to send a brief video or schedule a short call to answer questions before their referral applies.
When your referral is ready to speak with someone from Trova, introducing them to your Trova Rep is a great way to get them connected. Be sure your referral creates their Host account using your unique referral link, as this is how referrals are tracked and credited.
Who is eligible to be referred?
Referred Hosts must be new to TrovaTrip and not already in contact with our team about hosting or trip planning.
