Types of Hosts

Trova has organized over 1500 trips with diverse creators, including outdoor enthusiasts, yoga experts, travel influencers, foodies, and more! We understand that there's no universal formula for a successful trip, and we believe that anyone with a platform, an engaged community, and a passion for travel can create an incredible experience.

What do Hosts do?

Most TrovaTrip Hosts, including best-selling authors, reality TV favorites, and popular Content Creators, have highly engaged online communities seeking to grow their brand and deepen connections with followers. Unlike trip Guides, Hosts often explore a destination for the first time alongside their Travelers, embodying the role of the "Bringer of the Vibes." The hosting process involves two main parts: before and during travel.

Before Travel: This phase involves learning about the audience's travel preferences, promoting the trip on social media, generating excitement, and reaching full capacity. Hosts set a supportive tone by making introductions, addressing concerns, and assisting Travelers with preparations, fostering a bonded and enthusiastic group.

During Travel: Hosts balance enjoying activities themselves with ensuring the group has a positive experience. While not in charge, they act as informal leaders, bringing people together and encouraging adherence to the schedule. Some Hosts may conduct workshops related to their expertise, but the focus is on being present and having fun, creating engaging content.
