We have said this before, and we'll say it again. The only consistent thing with travel is inconsistency. A Trova trip is built to minimize that for you and your Travelers, but we know that things can happen. This is where our team of experts comes in!

Canceled or Delayed Flights

As we do not manage flights, we have little control over this aspect of your trip. However, we have partnered with Transferz to make this a little less stressful! You do not need to worry about missing your transfer to/from the airport, as they will be actively tracking your flights upon arrival and departure.

Keep in contact with your Travelers and Guide to inform them and keep them up to date. Everyone will be guided to the hotel and welcome dinner, so no need to worry about that!

Missed Transfer

If a problem arises that causes you to miss your booked transfer from the airport to your hotel, you still have options to arrange transportation for yourself. Of course, please inform both the Guide and Trova Support so we can investigate. However, there are many options available to a traveler from the airport. Including:

  • Taxi

  • Rideshare: Lyft/Uber/Local options

  • Hotel shuttles: Often hotels will offer a shuttle service for airport pickup

  • Contacting Transferz directly to arrange a new transfer. The number will be provided on your booking or in your emailed invoice.

Hotel Issues

Any problems with the hotel should be brought directly to your Guide or the Operator Emergency contact in the Trova mobile app, in the Help Center. As the Operator and Guide are our resources on the ground, they will be best equipped to handle any urgent issues that may arise with your accommodations. From there, they will work with us to help resolve issues or provide alternatives.

Welcome Dinner

As with hotel problems, your first point of contact about meal issues should be your Guide. They can work directly with the Operator and restaurant to provide a faster resolution. Of course, we want to hear any feedback about your experience either during or after the trip, but Trova is unable to offer as immediate support as our on-the-ground experts in these cases.
