Once you have found your perfect Trovatrip and begun the booking process, you will be required to make a down payment to save your spot on the trip. This is 25% of the total booking cost. Any add-ons selected upon booking will increase your down payment amount.
Please note that if you have purchased travel insurance on your booking, that amount is added to the 25% down payment.
When booking your spot- if booking within the United States- you will be presented with 3 options: Pay in Full, Pay Minimum Due (Down Payment), and Pay with Affirm. We will go over these options below.
Pay in Full
This is exactly what it sounds like! You pay your full balance on the trip up front, no need to worry about making payments later or issues due to missed deadlines.
Pay Minimum Due
This is the required amount due for a down payment in order to save your spot on the trip. 25% is due at checkout, and the remainder is due 90 days before your trip starts. You can make payments at any time in your Portal Account on the Manage Booking section of your Trip page.
Pay with Affirm
We are happy to partner with Affirm to help make your trip more affordable or easier to manage payments. If you choose this option, you work directly with Affirm to process a loan for the trip amount, and you make payments directly to them.
