More than 90 Days Before Your Trip
Book Your Trip: Lock in your spot on your preferred journey. With TrovaTrip’s wide variety of group travel experiences, booking early means you're more likely to snag a spot before the trip fills up—and maybe even lock in some savings with an early bird discount!
Make Payments: Once your booking is Pending, you can begin payments. Full payment is due 90 days before your trip. Check out our Payment Deadlines guide for more details.
Travel Insurance: Not required on all trips, but highly recommended! Protect your adventure with travel insurance. Learn more on our Traveler Insurance page.
50 Days Before Your Trip
Trip Closes: Booking closes, and we start finalizing accommodations, activities, and transportation. Your details are sent to our vetted local Operators to ensure a smooth, safe group travel experience.
Submit Your Trip Form: Your Trip Form captures essential info—flight details, roommate preferences, and more. Submit it accurately and on time so your choices are reflected in your group trip. Learn more in our Trip Form article.
~49 Days Before Your Trip
Join the Group Chat: Connect with fellow Travelers and your Host in the TrovaTrip app. A few days before departure, your Guide joins to answer questions and help the group feel like a community from the start.
45 Days Before Your Trip
Detailed Itinerary Released: Your trip page shows a basic overview, but the Detailed Itinerary includes confirmed accommodations, activity times, and local tips. See more in our Itinerary article.
30 Days Before Your Trip
Arrival Preparation: Our Trip Coordination team shares arrival prep information covering key info—roommate assignments, transfer times, and other essentials. You’ll be ready to travel without stress!
