Booking Statuses

Embarking on a TrovaTrip journey involves a series of booking statuses that signify different stages in the reservation process. You can view your status any time from your Portal Account and we will also email you updates as each status changes. Here's a breakdown of each status you may see during the booking process:

Waitlist Status

Securing a spot on a fully subscribed trip places you on the waitlist for potential openings. At this stage, a pending authorization charge may appear, but no payment is collected. If a spot opens up, you will be emailed with a payment link to secure your place on the trip.

Awaiting Status

If your booking is in the awaiting status, TrovaTrip has temporarily placed it on hold, awaiting additional information, documentation, or payment. Our team will contact you regarding what needs to be rectified in order to proceed to the next step!

Pending Status

Your booking is in the queue, awaiting approval from the Host. Hosts review and decide on Traveler approvals at their discretion. At this point, the booking is fully refundable, until it is confirmed. You can see more information on this in our Cancelation Policy.

Confirmed Status

Congratulations! Your booking has been confirmed. You are all set for your adventure. Ensure you review the details provided and prepare for a remarkable experience.
